About the role:

We are looking for a Storeperson starting on a temporary basis working full time hours Monday to Friday at our clients Malaga warehouse and workshop. You will have the chance to convert to permanent if suitable after a casual probation period.

You will be responsible for goods in/out, getting parts and equipment ready to be sent out to projects across WA, operating the forklift, inputting orders and deliveries and general workshop/warehouse duties.
Solid experience on the forklift is required, as you will be helping set up the new stores process, racks and bins for stock and storage of electrical equipment. Assisting with the prestart checks on the company Utes and vans, so a WA Manual driving licence is essential.

About you, as a minimum:

  • Previous experience working in a stores and workshop environment
  • Experience using Pronto, SAP or other similar ERP systems to control stock and goods in/out processes
  • Be self-motivated and have proven problem-solving skills, not afraid to get stuck in regardless of the tasks required, solid all-rounder
  • Assisting the stores manager set up new process across the sites, helping get tools & equipment ready for the electricians to take to the jobs, organising goods to be delivered and picked up from work sites
  • Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions, but also take the initiative when required
  • Experience within stores, deliveries or parts is essential as well as being skilled on the forklift
  • Valid Australian Manual Driver’s Licence is essential
  • Proof of right to work in Australia permanently, unfortunately this is a temp to perm position so no WHV can be accepted
  • Adhere to the site’s HSEC policies and procedures
  • Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and culture
