Senior Project Engineer – Civils

The Opportunity:

Our client is an Australian owned family run business that operates across Mining Civils, Main Road Civils and Infrastructure projects across the Pilbara.

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Civils looking for their next FIFO opportunity 2/1 roster, ex Perth. You must be either and Australia Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!

The position:

The Senior Project Engineer will deliver multiple projects across the Northwest and greater Kimberly Regions, mainly bulk earthworks, roads and major infrastructure works. Our client has strong project pipelines, and you may be required to work across several projects at the same time.

This is an opportunity for a driven engineering professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial awareness, practical problem-solving skills and the ability to lead project teams in a fast-paced civil construction environment.

If you are a Project Engineer with 3+ years experience in civil earthworks looking to take the step into a SPE role then we would like to hear from you.

The Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering ideally experience within Civils and Bulk Earthworks
• Interpret drawings and review scopes of work to ensure it is reflected in pricing and project execution
• Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including ITPs, quality records, work procedures and project specifications
• Evaluate pricing, quotes, and estimates from subcontractors and suppliers
• Developing and managing project schedules, look-ahead programs, construction methodologies and work packs
• Help review, prepare and formalise project tenders
• Develop project deliverables for site execution including work packs QAQC
• Exposure to projects across Mining, Main Roads & Infrastructure & Bulk Earthworks
• Take early action to ensure project costs and timelines remain as per schedule
• Be able to communicate at senior levels, budget, plan and keep senior management across project issues, delays or other liabilities
