Senior Design Engineer

The Opportunity:

Our client is arriving in Australia in 2026, and they have been operating in the UK, Ireland & Poland for the last 20+ years.

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Design Engineers to join their newly formed WA office.
If you’re an experienced Senior Engineer looking for a dynamic new challenge within temporary & formworks structures, with the opportunity to build the WA business and potentially move into a directorship position, then we want to hear from you.

With continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity for a key role in delivering unique and bespoke engineering solutions across all construction sectors.

You must be either and Australia Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!

The Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Structural or Civil Engineering, ideally working towards or already be accredited status ICE or IStructE or (Engineers Australia Mutal Recognition)
• Preparing, checking, and approving structural calculations, drawings, and reports
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle for temporary works such as formwork & scaffolding structures
• 3D draughting/modelling knowledge, as well as 2D AutoCAD skills
• Dive into a range of exciting projects, applying your expertise to diverse scenarios
• Create compelling designs and technical drawings, developing complex solutions making them easily understandable for clients
• Ensure flawless planning, design, and implementation of temporary, structural form works, embracing the latest software and tools
• Conduct site visits, detailed surveys, and develop innovative solutions for ultimate safety
• Provide crucial technical support to colleagues, working independently on multiple projects even under tight deadlines
• Seize the opportunity to learn and grow by mastering new skills and staying updated with industry standards
• Champion safety by implementing a robust strategy in line with Construction Design and Management Regulations
• Experience in a design-focused role on Australian Scaffold & Concrete Formwork construction projects
