The Opportunity:
Our client is an Australian owned business that operates across Civil Infrastructure and MRWA projects across Perth and Regional WA. Their offices are based in the Northern Suburbs of Perth; however, their projects cover all Perth metro and beyond.
We are seeking a Civil Project Planner who is looking for a Perth based opportunity with occasional site travel as and when required.
The Civil Project Planner will help deliver multiple projects across the metro regions, mainly bulk earthworks, roads and major infrastructure works, land development and subdivisions. Our client has strong project pipelines, and you may be required to work across several projects at the same time.
You must be either and Australia Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!
The Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering with experience on large bulk earthworks projects from $5m – $30m
- Review tender documents to understand scope, contract requirements, and scheduling constraints
- Work closely with senior leaders, tender teams, and delivery teams to develop and maintain detailed construction programs, determine methodologies, assess project risks, and contribute to winning bids and successful project execution
- Monitor project progress using earned value and KPI-based reporting, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Analyse time impacts and assist in the preparation of extension of time claims or delay analyses
- Assist key stakeholders on tender preparation and submissions
- A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running is essential for this role
- Experience MS Project, Primavera 6 or Powerproject
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply construction logic
