We are on the lookout for A-Grade Electricians – within Manufacturing who have experience within the following: building and assembly of, Electrical Switchgear, Control Systems, Stand Alone Power Systems and Charging Equipment from 360kw to 1.4kw.

You will be part of a very successful team that has grown rapidly over the last 12 months working on cutting edge renewable energy systems and products to be delivered to major mining, renewables and infrastructure projects across WA.

This is a fulltime permanent position based in our clients Kewdale Workshop, Monday to Friday with a minimum of 38hrs per week plus O/T when required.

Job Description:

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, follow complex plans to ensure products are built to specifications in accordance with the scope of works
  • Diagnostic testing of electrical equipment utilised in utilities, mining, and power transmission
  • Identify risks, OHS issues by completing final audits and checks before testing and commissioning
  • The ability to liaise with other employees and the leadership team, communicating across the business to keep the stakeholders up to date with the project build timeframes and project completion schedules
  • The ability to problem solve and come up with solutions to resolve issues that may arise
  • Follow and implement safety procedures in accordance with site requirements
  • Opportunity to step up into a team lead role once you have proved your skills

Skills and Experience:

  • WA, A-Grade Electrical Licence & Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Australian Driver’s License
  • CPR/LVR & First Aid would be advantageous
  • Previous experience within renewable energy power systems or manufacturing electrical power units and switchrooms
  • Meet intended testing requirements, adhere to industry standards, meet customer specifications and ensure rigours testing
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screens
