We are on the lookout for an Electrical Supervisor to work across multiple RIO sites on a 2/1 FIFO basis to help with the construction of recycle wastewater plants.

Our client is a premier engineering and electrical contracting firm. Who started with a focus on petrochemical electrical services in Western Australia and have since grown into a multidisciplinary team of 45+ professionals.

Operating from their main branches in Malaga and Karratha, they deliver heavy-industrial design, installation, and maintenance services across Australia for global resource giants like BHP, Rio Tinto, BP, and Shell.
This is a fulltime permanent position working across a variety of mine sites on construction projects.

Job Description:

  • WA A-Grade Electrical Licence essential along with LVR/CPR First Aid
  • Cert IV Instrumentation as well as Working at Heights and Confined Spaces are essential
  • Ideally have S26 (not essential)
  • Ideally RIO inducted (not essential)
  • Experience leading, teaching and mentoring small teams, be well organised with the ability to communicate across key stakeholders and clients
  • Ensure electrical compliance requirements of the legislation applicable to your area of responsibility
  • Plan daily work and complete daily inspections of all work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to develop a safe and efficient work culture​
  • Update documentation as required including planning tools, weekly report, work breakdown reports, site quality documentation and incident reports
  • Identify risks, OHS issues by completing final audits and checks before testing and commissioning
  • Hands on experience within heavy industry electrical work, both installation and maintenance. Fault find, plan and repair electrical issues to client specifications
  • Follow and implement safety procedures in accordance with site requirements and our client’s safety-first protocols
