The Opportunity:

Our client is a partner owned Australian business that operates across Australia. They specialise in end-to-end design and construction for industrial, logistics and port infrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the team in their offices based in Perth’s Northern Suburbs. Working across construction projects for large distribution centres, warehouses and storage facilities.

You must be either and Australia Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!

The position:

The Contracts Administrator will be working closely with project and operation teams to support contract administration, claims, tendering, procurement and commercial risk management across varied projects worth $1M-$50M

The Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in any of the following; Construction Management, Law, QS, Business Management or Commerce.
  • Come from a background in contracting within Tier 1 or 2 within civil engineering or construction companies
  • Proven experience delivering projects valued up to $50M
  • Have the ability to work within the project timelines and manage conflicting deadlines
  • Draft and prepare variations and all correspondence including notices of delay, extensions and other claims
  • Prepare, review, and manage contract documents
  • Track project costs, variations, and progress claims
  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and commercial negotiation
  • Must be living or prepared to relocate to Perth, and have full working rights in Australia
