My client operates in the electrical, engineering and infrastructure sector, delivering projects across the mining, industrial and commercial industries from their Malaga workshop.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Stores Asset Manager to take full ownership of the company’s stores, inventory, assets and warehouse operations.
This is a senior position where you’ll be responsible for managing stock, improving systems and processes, coordinating logistics and ensuring workshop teams and project sites have the equipment and materials they need to keep projects moving.
The role also involves visiting laydown yards across WA, implementing consistent inventory processes and helping shape the future of the stores function as the business continues to grow.

About you, as a minimum:

  • 3-5 years’ experience running a stores, warehouse, company assets and inventory functions.
  • Experience managing stock control, stores, spare parts, goods receivable, dispatch and logistics.
  • Experience within electrical wholesaling or stores mining, construction, engineering or a similar industrial environment would be highly regarded.
  • Experience using SimPro would be valuable; however, candidates with SAP, Pronto or other similar ERP systems are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations and asset management.
  • Someone who enjoys improving systems and implementing processes to make the operation run smoother.
  • Happy to travel to laydown yards across WA to conduct stock takes and support operations when required.
  • Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Forklift Licence (desirable).
  • Truck Licence (desirable).
  • Full Australian working rights
