The Opportunity:
Our client is an Australian owned and operated business within the building and construction industry across WA. They specialise building large structural buildings like warehouses, distribution centres, workshops and storage facilities across mining, manufacturing and agriculture industries.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with experience in large scale industrial construction projects. This role will be based in Perth with sites visits as and when required across WA You must be either and
Australia Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!
The Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in either Construction Management, Project Management, or Civil Engineering essential
- Experience managing large scale building projects for warehouses & storage facilities, overseeing D&C, projects ranging from $50m to $100m
- Excellent knowledge of Australia building codes, standards and regulations is essential for this position
- Have experience working cross-functionally with Project Controls, Engineering, Health, Safety and Environment, Sustainability, Quality, and Construction teams to achieve project objectives
- Have skills to manage large construction teams, liaising with key stakeholders and making good business decisions in line with the project scope
- A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running is essential for this role
- Be able to communicate at senior levels, budget, plan and keep senior management across project issues, delays or other liabilities
- Able to adapt to changing project conditions and demonstrate resilience under pressure, especially in fast-paced or high-risk environments
