My client operates in within gold mining fixed plant maintenance and construction industry, specifically on gold processing fixed plant, ball & sag mills.
About the role:
We are looking for Mechanical Fitters to strip down sag & ball mills, refurbish, and maintenance of the plant, then rebuild them either in the previous location or new location depending on contract and project scope.
This will be ongoing work on a 2/1 roster basis, FIFO ex Perth. Our client has many projects on the go currently and the ideal situation is that they will transition the fitters to permanent positions once they have proved themselves.
About you, as a minimum:
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter essential
- Experience working on fixed plant gold equipment such a ball & sag mills highly desirable. Good solid knowledge within strip down and refurbishment along with assembly of process plant equipment essential
- Must have full working rights in Australia,
- Inspect, analyse and record critical mechanical information during the process of undertaking new build, refurbishment work and strip and assessment
- Escalate and communicate problems and issues with Workshop Supervisor
- Ensure safe work practices are adopted at all times, communicating any issues to site management

- $70ph – $75ph Flat Rates + Super on all hours worked
- FIFO, ex Perth 2/1 roster dayshift only
- 11.5hr shifts paid
- Flights in & out of site will be on rostered work time, not your R&R time!!
