About the Role:
We are on the lookout for an Electrician ideally with experience working with PTA or RIW within Western Australia.
You will be part of the team replacing existing PLC pans with new pans and dropping these into the existing racks across the Perth Rail Networks. This will cover 11 sites across Perth and takes approximately 2-3 days per site to switch out.
It’s a contract role for the next 4 weeks, however, there may be more work for the right candidate. Excellent hourly pay rates of between $80ph – $110ph + super depending on experience.
Job Description:
- WA A-Grade Electrical Licence essential
- Experience within rail and PTA or RIW would be highly desirable
- Experience working with Krone Terminals, as you will be replacing old ones with new ones
- Pulling cables into cable trays and dropping them into the racks, patching, testing and commissioning new pans
- Ensure electrical compliance requirements of the legislation applicable to your area of responsibility
- Update documentation as required by site, follow WHS procedures
- Hands on experience within heavy industry electrical work, both installation and maintenance. Fault find, plan and repair electrical issues to client specifications
- Examine blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operations
