The Opportunity:
Our client is an Australian owned family run business that operate within the civils and bulk earthworks industry across mining and infrastructure projects throughout the Pilbara region of WA.
We are seeking a FIFO Civil Supervisor to work across multiple projects on a 2/1 roster basis.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring civil infrastructure projects for Bulk Earthworks, Roads, Pavements, Drainage, Underpasses Culverts and Trenching are completed on time and to a high standard. Supervising crews of operators and TA’s and working with the project PEs and PMs to deliver successful outcomes.
You must be either and Australia Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!
The Requirements:
- 2-3 years within a Civil Supervisor position, working bulk earthworks, drainage, culverts, trenching, mine site infrastructure, access roads and have exposure to MRWA projects
- Experience in above ground earthworks and underground utility installation, supervising crews of operators and civil staff
- Planning and allocating labour, plant, materials, and equipment. Looking after teams of 10 – 15 operators and TA’s
- Strong management skills and the ability to build successful teams, manage staff, make decisions to keep the projects moving but also safe
- Liaise with the Project Management team to ensure that the necessary technical support and information is provided to meet the production schedule
- Plan and conduct daily prestart meetings prior to shift commencement and ensure all site personnel are involved
- Ensure all site staff are competent, have the right permits to work onsite
- MUST have full working rights in Australia!
