About the role:
We are looking for self-motivated, career driven Factory Assistant to join our successful team at our Wangara workshop. This role will start of on a fulltime casual basis working 38hrs per week, with the opportunity to convert to permanent after a 3-month trial period.
About you, as a minimum:
- Full Working rights in Australia, either PR Visa or Citizen
- Full driving licence with your own transport is essential, as the factory is not near public transport links.
- Working within a heavy industry plant, you will be on your feet all shift, heavy manual tasks required throughout the day, so candidates need to be prepared to pass a pre-employment medical
- Be self-motivated and have proven problem solving skills, not afraid to get stuck in regardless of the tasks required, solid all-rounder
- Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions, but also take the initiative when required
- Experience within heavy manufacturing industry preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Adhere to the site’s HSEC policies and procedures
- Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and culture
What are we offering:
- $30ph + super, + O/T Penalties **18 years of age or under**
- $31.25ph + super, O/T Penalties **19 years of age**
- $32.50ph + super, O/T Penalties **20+ years of age**
- Monday to Thursday 7am – 3.30pm and Friday 7am – 1pm
- Supportive and experienced supervision with the scope to gain further experience
