About the role:
We are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Feeders Product Vertical. Relevant experience in material handling products such as crushers, screens, feeders and conveyors is desired. You will manage your own portfolio of projects, providing you with the opportunity take ownership and drive innovation.
This is a Full Time Permanent Position, so only applications with Full Work Rights in Australia will be considered
About you, as a minimum:
- Mechanical Engineering Bachelors degree with 10-15 years experience essential
- Experience working on material handling products & parts such as conveyor-based systems, including component sizing such as shafts, drives, and take-up assemblies are essential for this position
- Supporting design and selection of equipment within mining or heavy industrial environments
- Experience of using Engineering Software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD and other 3D modelling software, be able to identify and troubleshoot technical issues using root cause analysis
- Completion of TUNRA & Practical Belt Conveying courses or equivalent recognised training in bulk materials handling preferred
- Support the sales and senior leadership team with product design and selection to assist with tenders and client requests
- Happy to travel if required across Australia and at times internationally, although this is not a frequent occurrence
- Ensure safe work practices are always adopted, communicating any issues to site management
