The Opportunity:
Our client is an Australian owned family run business that operates across Perth Metro area from Yanchep to Mandurah.
We are seeking Quantity Surveyors to work across multiple civil land development and subdivision projects across Perth and the wider metro area.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring civil projects are on track by being onsite, taking measurements and being hands on. This is not an office-based role, it’s in the field working across multiple projects within subdivisions, land development, UG utilities and bulk earthworks.
You must be either and Australia Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia to be considered for this position, we are not offering sponsorship!
The Requirements:
- Quantity Surveyor or Construction Qualified is essential, with 1-2 years’ experience in the field
- Experience in above ground earthworks bulk and detailed, land development projects and underground utilities set ups.
- Have the ability to work multiple projects at once ranging from $5m to $30m in value
- Hands on site experience, this is not an office-based position, it’s out in field working on several projects, taking measurements and verifying quantities
- Liaise with the Project Management, site engineers & supervisors’ to ensure that the necessary technical support and information is provided to meet the production schedule
- Assist with claims, variations and track contractor and supplier performance against the scope of works
- High attentions to detail, making sure reports and data are submitted accurately an on time. Flag any risks to the PM and Commercial Managers
- This role would suit a postgraduate with a couple of years’ experience in the field. Training and career development offered
