My client is a family run business within the Trades & Construction Equipment Hire space here in WA. With over 30 years of experience here in Perth, they have grown to become one of the largest suppliers of small to medium sized trades and construction hire equipment.
THE ROLE:
We are recruiting a Branch Manager to work in their metro outlet just south of Perth CBD. You will report to the Area Manager & Commercial Manager.
As the BM you will be responsible for achieving branch targets, managing client expectations, making sure equipment is in good condition for hire and managing the team of 5-8 staff.
Provide a top-class service to customers, making sure their hire needs and deadlines are met. Lead and delivery branch safety activities, including toolbox meetings, staff training & development and forge a great team culture for all.
About You
- Previous experience within rental equipment market, running a retail branch and managing staff
- Lead the branch team to achieve financial revenue and budgets
- Ensure branch employees are trained on products and services on offer, carry out staff appraisals and drive training
- Manage the equipment maintenance via the workshop to meet customer demands
- Strong financial experience, managing KPI’s, P&L’s and company budgets and forecasting
- Solid knowledge of trades and construction hire equipment, such as band saws, nail guns, platforms, lighting, lifting equipment, earth movers, excavators etc
- Must be an Australian PR or Citizen
