My client operates in the Crushing, Screening and Conveyers industry across WA, supplying their products to Mining, Recycling and Quarries.
About the role:
We are looking for Boilermakers to strip down, refurbish and rebuild conveyers at their workshop and yard in Muchea.
Monday to Saturday 10hr days, although Saturdays can be negotiable down to 4hrs or 6hrs if that’s more suitable.
You will work in a team of Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters to strip down used conveyers, repair any issues then rebuild the conveyer to return to site. This role is based north of the river in Muchea, easily accessible from the Tonkin Highway.
About you, as a minimum:
- Trade qualified Boilermaker essential
- Experience working on fixed plant equipment such as crushers, screens or conveyers
- Must have full working rights in Australia, we cannot accept WHV unfortunately
- Interpret engineering and technical drawings to determine plan layout, measurements, and sequence of welding assignments
- Fabricate, assemble and repair structures, pipes, and other metal components using welding and cutting techniques such as MIG or TIG welding, oxygen-acetylene, electric ARC
- Complete all required safety documentation before commencing works including G2G, SWI/JHA/SWMS and permit to work
- Escalate and communicate problems and issues with Workshop Supervisor
- Ensure safe work practices are adopted at all times, communicating any issues to site management
What are we offering:
- $65ph to $70ph Flat Rates + Super
- Monday to Saturday
- 10hr Days guaranteed $$$’s
- Be home every night, residential Muchea location Northern Suburbs
- Project lasts 4 – 6 months however there may be an opportunity to convert to permanent
