My client designs, manufactures and delivers work platforms for the Oil & Gas, Mining, Fixed & Mobile Plant and Construction sectors across Australia.

About the role:

We are looking for Yard Person & Truck Driver to work from our clients Welshpool workshop.
You will be responsible for client deliveries in and around the Perth Metro area as well as looking after the production yard. Moving stock around using the forklift and trucks, getting orders ready for dispatch, dealing with customer calls, accepting goods in/out.

You MUST have a HR Driving Licence as a minimum.

Solid understanding of basic working around heavy industrial equipment, using Pronto, SAP or similar ERP systems.

About you, as a minimum:

  • HR Driving Licence
  • Experience using Pronto or SAP, or other similar ERP systems
  • Be self-motivated and have proven problem solving skills, not afraid to get stuck in regardless of the tasks required, solid all-rounder
  • Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions, but also take the initiative when required
  • Experience within stores or yard person work, making customer deliveries, picking up parts using HR Trucks, keeping the workshop yard clean and tidy, getting good ready for collection or shipment.
  • 70% of your time will be in the Yard, 30% on the road driving the HR Truck
  • Proof of right to work in Australia permanently, unfortunately this is a temp to perm position so no WHV can be accepted
  • Adhere to the site’s HSEC policies and procedures
  • Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and culture
