About the company:

My client operates in the Heavy Vehicle maintenance space, stripping down, maintenance and then rebuilds of trucks and HV’s from their Kewdale workshop.

About the role:

We are looking for a mechanically minded Stores & Parts Person starting on a temporary basis you will have the chance to convert to permanent after 3 months if suitable.

You will be responsible for parts deliveries and collections around Perth so you MUST have a Manual C Class Licence.

Solid understanding of basic mechanics would be an advantage as you will eventually be trained up to become the Spare Parts Interpreter, previous experience using Pronto or similar ERP systems.

About you, as a minimum:

  • Have broad general experience within mechanical trades, previous experience working in a store’s environment
  • Experience using Pronto or other similar ERP systems
  • Be self-motivated and have proven problem solving skills, not afraid to get stuck in regardless of the tasks required, solid all-rounder
  • Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions, but also take the initiative when required
  • Experience within stores, deliveries or parts is essential
  • Valid Australian Manual Driver’s Licence is essential
  • Proof of right to work in Australia permanently, unfortunately this is a temp to perm position so no WHV can be accepted
  • Adhere to the site’s HSEC policies and procedures
  • Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and culture

  • Monday to Friday 7am – 3.30pm (may change 8am – 4.30pm)
