My client operates in the Heavy Vehicle Maintenance space, stripping down, maintenance and then rebuilds of low level loaders & trailers from their Welshpool workshop.
About the role:
We are looking for a Mechanically minded TA starting on a temporary basis you will have the chance to convert to permanent after 3 months if suitable.
You will be responsible for assisting the HD Fitters, using general hand and power tools to service and maintain the equipment. This position requires proven experience within mechanical trades, good knowledge of wheels, bearings, axels and hydraulics maintenance.
This would ideally suit someone with an agricultural background, general hand maintenance experience who can jump in and assist around the workshop on whatever tasks are required.
About you, as a minimum:
- Have broad general experience within Mechanical Trades
- Be self-motivated and have proven problem solving skills, not afraid to get stuck in regardless of the tasks required, solid all-rounder
- Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions, but also take the initiative when required
- Experience using hand and power tools (essential)
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Proof of right to work in Australia, unfortunately this is a temp to perm position so no WHV
- Adhere to the site’s HSEC policies and procedures
- Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and culture
