About the company:
My client operates in the Heavy Mobile Plant Equipment space within the mining industry, they service and maintain parts such a as Wear Plates, Crusher Parts, Apron Feeds, Bucket Teeth, Grader Blades and much more from their workshops based in Welshpool.
About the role:
We are looking for a Stores/Warehouse person starting on a temporary basis you will have the chance to convert to permanent after 3 months if suitable.
You will be responsible for parts deliveries and collections around Perth so you MUST have a full Australian Driving Licence.
You will sort, wrap and get ready machine parts for distribution, take orders in via the warehouse and put them on the racks ready for maintenance. A key part to this role will be working on the forklift moving stock around the warehouse so a FL is essential.
As this is a temporary to permanent position only those with Full Working Rights in Australia and living in Perth can be considered.
About you, as a minimum:
- Ideally you will have worked in a stores/warehouse environment before, and be comfortable operating the forklift
- Must have a valid Forklift Licence and Driving Licence
- Be self-motivated and have proven problem solving skills, not afraid to get stuck in regardless of the tasks required, solid all-rounder
- Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions, but also take the initiative when required
- Experience within stores, deliveries or parts is essential
- Valid Australian Manual Driver’s Licence is essential
- Proof of right to work in Australia permanently, unfortunately this is a temp to perm position so no WHV can be accepted
- Adhere to the site’s HSEC policies and procedures
- Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and culture
